Training in the ASI-AF
The ASI-AF is an evidence-based assessment tool for the purposes of
anticipating post-placement support needs in adoption and fostering.
A four day training course is available to establish reliable use of
the ASI-AF and to build up practitioners' skills in making assessments
of characteristics of parents and carers. It encompasses their quality
of close relationships, social support and security of adult attachment
style.

2. Ordering
Attachment Style Interview Packs 
Printed
copies of the ASI-AF Interview pack are available to those who have
completed the four day training and can be ordered from Lifespan Research
Group. Prompt delivery is assured, direct to your team.
The
cost of one Interview pack alone (without
Lifespan consultancy, see below) is £15 per pack plus postage.
There is a minimum order of 5 packs. To order these packs please download
and complete the order form.
Printed copies of the ASI-AF Interview pack, as above, plus
an hour's consultancy to provide ratings accuracy feedback
from the Lifespan research team. To enquire about this option please
email LifespanTraining@rhul.ac.uk
or 0207 307 8619. The cost of one Interview pack
with Lifespan Consultancy is £45
per pack plus postage. There is no minimum order. To order these packs
please download and complete the order

Electronic Attachment Style Interview pack
Due to numerous requests Lifespan are very pleased to now be able to offer a high quality electronic version of the Attachment Style Interview (ASI) pack for social care teams and independent practitioners who are fully trained in the assessment tool. In response to
practitioner demand, Lifespan have developed the pack utilising the latest PDF technology for convenience of use, for data sharing, and to fulfil agency demands for
electronic storage of evidence-based assessment records.
The PDF Acrobat format document enables the Electronic ASI to be shared amongst members of an organisation and can be re-used an indefinite number of times throughout its licence period. Download Electronic ASI flyer and for more information.

4. Workshop
briefings on the ASI & Evaluating the use of ASI
One-day workshops on the ASI are available for
prospective or experienced users of the assessment tool. These
can serve to outline the background and use of the interview in adoption
and fostering with time to discuss particular team needs. Workshops
can be arranged for a range of professionals involved in the services
and adoption-fostering panel members. For enquiries or rates, contact

Research services are also available for evaluating
your team's use of the ASI in relation to placement outcomes
in adoption and fostering.
